Brain Tumour Spotter

Early-stage cost-effective diagnostics web app developed at D.A.V. Public School utilizing computer vision to classify and stream brain tumor MRI scan data.

Web-Integrated Clinical Diagnostics

Brain Tumour Spotter is an early applied engineering and medical informatics project developed during high school to address neuro-oncology diagnostic bottlenecks in highly populated regions across India.

Project Overview:

  • Timeline: September 2022 – January 2023
  • Affiliation: M. L. Khanna D.A.V. Public School

Designed a cost-effective, web-integrated medical imaging application to accelerate initial neuro-oncology diagnostics. The computer vision model analyzes uploaded brain scan reports and instantly streams classification payloads to a centralized cloud database, bypassing typical hospital wait times for patients in highly populated regions.

Key Features:

  • Computer Vision Pipeline: Implemented lightweight supervised learning models trained on structural MRI scans.
  • Cloud Integration: Automated immediate streaming of diagnostic data from client web UI to central databases.
  • Socio-Economic Impact: Optimized for deployment in public health centers to reduce oncology pipeline delays.
